Howdy ya’ll!
I’ve been writing and recording a lot these past few weeks and I’m taking a slightly different approach to the aforementioned actions. Instead of having an initial idea and then coming up with new sections (potentially forced ones) to put after the first idea (thus making the various parts of a typical song), I decided to stick to just that original spark of a song. When I had that burst of creation, I decided to ride the wave until I was beached and not try to squeeze out another ride. I’m still finalizing the album, but I decided to throw one song up on my Bandcamp page so you can hear what I’m doing anyway. This particular song is composed of bass guitar, vocals, and tambourine. I discovered a few melodies that stuck and recorded it right away. Here is my final(?) product.

Hey there friends,
Just bee-logging about an upcoming show i have. I will be playing at the Dragon’s Den (NOLA) on Tuesday, September 15 with friends Gamma Ringo (loud experimental folk rock from NOLA) and Female Demand (power noise rock bass’n drum duo from Houston, TX). I’ll be playing an ambient acoustic set, finding some strange middle ground between my ambient work and my soft folk stuff (a la my Bayous EP). This will be my first solo show in New Orleans this school year and my second solo show here ever. So i’m pretty stoked. We all hope you can make it out.

Oh and don’t think i forgot about the secret surprise i’m giving to those of you on my Bandcamp mailing list. It’ll be coming your way shortly. A new EP seems to be on the horizon as well.

It’s been a while since I updated the mixtape, so here’s a new old song i did probably somewhere around jr year. It’s an instrumental electronic song that i didn’t really intend to stay instrumental. Either way, it’s one of my fav Frooty Loops projects. I hope you and your momz like it. I think i have swine influenza. Also, i’ve been recording some new stuff. Should i work on organizing an album or release songs as i make them?? I’d love to hear your opinions.
